On July 27, I was invited to try out and review The Brunch Affair at Barbary Deli + Cocktail Club.
When we arrived at the place, we were greeted by the most accommodating staff!
I also loved the interior design of the place and it is aesthetically pleasing!
The Brunch Affair
First off, we were bombarded with a lot of appetizers, or as they call it: foreplay. We were able to try all the appetizers in The Brunch Affair menu.
French Toast Soldiers
Brûléed served with Fresh Berries & Homemade Custard
—I loved this one! It’s probably my favorite appetizer in all of the Brunch concept menu.
Mac & Cheese Balls
Panko crusted, Served with a Spicy Marinara Dip
Prime Beef Tenderloin, Chipotle Dressing, Matchstick Fries
—Not a big fan of raw dishes but I was able to try this one!
Typical Quebecois dish of fries, cheese curds & gravy
—I also loved this one, another favorite!
Honey Glazed Pork Chipolatas
After an hour (seriously, it took us an hour) of trying to finish the appetizers, the main course, as they call it: Main Squeeze, was finally served. We tried two of the main squeezes and it turned out good!
Eggs, Lincolnshire Pork Sausage, Thick Back Bacon, Baked Beans, Black Pudding, Fried Kale, Roasted Tomato & Portobello Mushroom
Steak & Eggs
Bavette Steak with Fried Eggs and Matchstick Fries
The Brunch Affair also comes with an Open Bar. You can pick any drink you want from the bar, both Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic drinks!
We were able to try their Mimosa, consisting of Orange popsicle and Champagne. The innovation with the orange popsicle is definitely a unique way to enjoy a glass of Mimosa!
[Chef’s Dessert of the Day]
For the last part of the meal, We got to try their Japanese Cheesecake topped with Caramel Popcorn and sided with an Ice Cream! (It’s very fluffy hihi)
And to finally seal it off, we ordered some Cafe Latte to end the brunch meal!
The Brunch Affair at Barbary Deli consists of 3 Courses + an open bar for the price of 299 AED per person. The Brunch Affair is open during Weekends at 12 pm ’til 5 pm.
The place is just too pretty and I couldn’t resist taking some photos!
To sum it all up, I think Barbary Deli’s The Brunch Affair is worth it! It’s at 299 per person but the quality of the food, the amenability of the staff, the ambiance of the place is definitely worth the price!
